Do you charge a call-out fee?

We charge a fixed Diagnostic Fee — £75 Monday to Friday (8am-5pm), or £120 for evenings, weekends and bank holidays. This covers travel and up to an hour of expert fault-finding, and gets you a clear, upfront price for the repair before any work begins. If parts are needed, we'll book a separate visit to fit them — the diagnostic fee isn't credited toward the repair, since it covers a genuinely separate visit.

How quickly can you come out?

We aim to respond as quickly as possible, often same-day or next-day depending on availability. Give us a call or get a quote online and we'll get you booked in straight away.

Question 3

Should I repair or replace my boiler?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the age and condition of your boiler. A general rule: if your boiler is over 10-12 years old and the repair costs more than half the price of a new one, replacement is often better value. We'll always give you an honest recommendation — we won't push a replacement if a repair makes more sense.

Will you give me a price before you start work?

Always. After diagnosing the fault we'll give you a clear, fixed price before touching anything. No work starts until you've agreed the cost. What we quote is what you pay — no extras added on the day.

What boiler brands do you repair?

We repair all major boiler brands including Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Baxi, Ideal, Viessmann, Glow-worm, and more. If you're unsure whether we cover your boiler, just give us a call and we'll let you know straight away.

Question 6

Is it safe to keep using my boiler if it's making noises?

Accepted Answer

Minor gurgling or ticking can sometimes be harmless, but persistent banging, kettling, or whistling usually signals a developing fault that will get worse if ignored. If you're in any doubt, turn the boiler off and call us — it's better to be safe, and a Diagnostic Visit will tell you exactly what's going on.
